Kathy Petite, Project Coordinator
Kathy is a native Haligonian who managed to finally move away when she relocated to Lantz, NS (45 minutes from Halifax). Her research career began in 2005 when she returned to school full-time to complete her MA in Family Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University. Since that time she has worked on many projects as both a research assistant and coordinator where she particularly enjoys using her administrative and financial skills.
Christine Le, Research Assistant
Christine Le came to Dalhousie University to take a Master’s in Health Administration after completing a BSc at McMaster University. Although a native of Ontario, she chose to stay in Nova Scotia after graduation in the Spring of 2011. Like many new graduates, she juggles 3 part-time positions as she builds her career. Update: Christine accepted a full-time position with the Department of Health in January 2012. We wish her all the best in her future career.
Anne Mahalik, Research Assistant
Anne works full-time as a clinical coordinator in the School of Health Sciences and is a graduate student in Health Services in addition to working on the IP project. Anne also knows first hand about being a member of the sandwich generation. We think she never sleeps but still manages to be cheerful, friendly, and an asset to the team.
Patty Weld-Viscount, Research Assistant
When Patty is not conducting interviews for us, she works for Family Medicine at Capital District Health.
Elizabeth McGiffin, Research Assistant
Elizabeth is a student in Social Work at Dalhousie. We are happy she came north from Arizona.
